Hi Claire,

Yes, you can use the plug-in with phplist as well.

:-)

Thank you!

Hi Seree,

I downloaded it and tried it but I could only get it to link to the phplist registration screen. It didnt actually appear to submit to the phplist and register. I think it maybe something to do with the form name? Maybe phplist looks for specific form entities? Any idea how I would use this? I would be more than happy purchasing the full version if I can get it working with phplist.

Hi Claire,

I’ve sorted out the issue with phplist.

It doesn’t work with the latest version of FasterIM Opt-in plug-in for Wordpress as it has a confirm email sent by subscription form.

So, it needs some fix and I’ve fixed it!

Please email me seree.w(a)gmail.com and I’ll send you the fixed of free version to work with phplist.

Cheers!

Hi Claire,

I sent you an email a few days.

How about your progress now?

Hi Seree,

Sorry, very busy so only just been able to try it out. It does work BUT for some reason when i enter email address and name and press submit I now get a JS popup window which shows the email address that was entered with an ‘ok’ button. When you click ok it disappears and you have to re-submit the form a 2nd time. I dont know if the JS was left in by mistake after testing but I if it could be removed that would be good as it is unclear what its purpose is and may cause people to simply close the form instead. Hope u can help.

I figured it out. Hope you dont mind but i removed the following code: alert(document.getElementById(’emailconfirm’).value); which was attached to the submit button. Working great now. So i’ll just do bit more testing and will upgrade. Thanks again for such quick customer support!

Hi Claire,

Sorry for that, I forget to remove those debugging-purpose line.

However, you figured it out! :-)

Please email me when you upgrade as I need to modify on the upgraded version as well.

Thanks!

Hi there, thankyou very much for the plugin. Love it.

Is it possible to customise the message in the sidebar, to say something other than Subscribe Now?

Also, how do I install it so it comes up in every blog post, and is it possible to put a customised message in that way??

Yes, you can do it by configure “Show at” to “All page” and using the customized HTML layout mode.

Thanks you,

I was wondering if you will have show once per session option in future. As this will annoy the visitors if it will load every time.

Any workaround?

Seree said,

December 4, 2008 @ 12:50 am

Hi Tab,

You can use “Show Period” to do that.

In the upgraded version, it will have a subscription cookies which will never pop-up again if visitor have subscribed.

Hope this help.

Thanks,
Seree W.

Seree,

I am excited to install this opt-in software. However, I have a problem. I don’t understand step 2, upload file to server. Do I have to have a website to use this? I thought it was for my blog.

Thank You,

Jason Watson

Hi Jason,

You have to have your own website that running Wordpress.

Then you have to upload the plug-in into “wp-content/plugins” folder under Wordpress’s main folder.

You can see some example from here.

Thanks!

One day I research in Internet and type Popup Plugin, I found your website is the best plugin in the year. I’m so tired when I must learn the coding to put subcriber form in my blog but your plugin is simple and easy..

Thanks! I give you 5 stars!
